ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting of the plant filled home of a Sweedish pattern designer called Gunilla Axen. I found images of the home in a book on pattern design and fell in love with them. I wanted to capture the brightness, light and sense of growth and nature in the images. I choose to use oil paint for the depth of colour. It is painted on heavyweight 200GSM Cartridge Paper.
