About The Artwork

Oil on linen 92x130x2cm (36.2x51.2x0.8in) 2022, ready to hang. On Exclusive Sale at the Chimera Gallery, Mullingar, IE. This painting comes from a dream that I had about a girl who build an incredibly high tower using small bricks. Also, it is an artwork in which I wanted to test my abilities in assembling a scene with many characters. I took several photo sessions (one for each character) and then worked with Photoshop to make a sample to follow for painting. I started working on “How to build a tower with magic” in 2019 and it took me more than two years to have it finished. The background is a monochrome living room which I painted using emerald green and blue colours; it turns to polychrome while the scene gets closer to the viewer. The painting technique is realistic, with several details and high definition of every part of the artwork. The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and primed using a classic method which prevents the colours from fading and deterioration. “How to build a tower with magic” is a 92x130 oil on linen artwork painted using top quality colours. It is ready to hang and comes with a unique certificate of authenticity.

In my paintings I focus on figures and their interaction with the landscape and architecture. After spending some years being very faithful to the samples, I am now experimenting different styles of painting and alternating portraits (mainly commissions) with sperimental artworks. Also, I am increasingly taking advantage of image editing softwares in pre-production to find the best colours and lights for the painting. I use oil colours both on wood and linen. All the materials used in the artworks are high quality, from hand primed canvas (by myself, using a classic method that prevents from aging and deterioration) to colours. Some of my paintings are currently part of private collections in Italy and abroad. Awards: 2023 Finalist, Artfinder Creative Contest - Unity Competition, Online. 2017 Mulieribus, 4th edition.
