Created in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Burnham Plan For Chicago in October 2009, the grid-based painting titled, Hundreds of Arbitrary Decisions Made By Design, completed in October 2009, is self-reference to the grid-based street layout of the city. It is an inherently collectible work that may ultimately have increasing value at each future commemorative milestone, in 2034, for the 125th, 2059, the 150th, and in 2109, the bicentennial.

After an extensive career as a musician, I began working visually (primarily in graphic design, inspired by album art), then into painting and collage. I tend to work in series, using various constraints based on color pallets, particularly in my minimalist "Black, White and Red series", which also uses metaphors from music, for example, the "Interval Cubes" and "Color of Sound" projects. Today, I find myself working on an ongoing series of interrelated and interdisciplinary projects with an eye toward making fabricated and installation art for private residences, offices, and public spaces.
