In gardens where the hydrangeas bloom, A spectacle of hues, dispelling gloom. Clusters of flowers, in shades so deep, Where secrets of the heart silently seep. Under the canopy of summer's embrace, They stand in dignity, with gentle grace. Blues, pinks, and purples, a vivid display, Reflecting the light of the sun's soft ray. A dance of colors, in the breeze they sway, Telling tales of rain and sun's interplay. For in their hue, a story is told, Of acidity and alkaline, in the soil's hold. Hydrangeas, with their beauty so serene, Adorn the gardens in a tranquil scene. A symbol of gratitude, understanding, and grace, In their presence, a calming space. As seasons change, they fade and renew, A reminder of cycles, and perspectives anew. So here's to the hydrangeas, in their glory and decay, A testament to resilience, in their own subtle way. In every petal, a lesson to find, Of embracing change, and being kind. For in the garden of life, they remind us to see, The beauty of growth, and the strength to be free.

Xavi Castel is a Catalan artist born in 1965 in Barcelona. In 2014, he moved to Italy, settling in Vicenza, where he currently resides. His passion for art and his constant search for beauty have led him to experiment with very different artistic styles, until making them his own through a personal and distinctive touch. In his early years, he focused on encaustic painting, an ancient technique where fire is used instead of a brush, and beeswax is the material to be transformed. In these works, attention is drawn to the uniqueness of the result, created by the skilled interplay of light and shadow, density, and transparency. He is currently exploring the world of Neo Pop Art, producing impactful works that emphasize the underlying message and strong visual impact.
