Marco Stocco, an Italian artist born in 1970, lives between Italy and Brazil. A self-taught artist drawn to figurative art, he began his career painting enigmatic female forms. During his artistic journey, Marco moved to Brazil, where he currently resides. Initially, the country's fast pace and vibrant cultural diversity overwhelmed him, yet through careful observation, he began to grasp new and precious creative stimuli. Marco treasures these inner experiences, which lead him to express new sensations in his paintings. In 2009, he created 'Orfeo,' his 'imaginary interior photojournalist'—an enigmatic and contemplative character who represents the artist himself, channeling these sensations onto the canvas. This led to series such as 'Orfeo artistic tastings' and 'Orfeo stay alive - stay creative,' which depict moments of his inner journey through painting.
