Rachel uses grief and the vast array of emotions that it encompasses to tell abstract stories of life, love, and loss. After suffering extreme personal loss and becoming a mother overnight to a child whom had lost his biological mom, Rachel took to art as a form of therapy. Her pieces on grief are raw and showcase an intense gratitude for life.
