Ēto is driven to work as natural and environmentally friendly as possible. For this reason, she produces some plant-based paints herself. Being careful and conscientious with resources is one of her top priorities. However, as an artistit, it is not always easy to work in an environmentally friendly way. Some paints, paint residues and other materials are highly toxic and almost every artist has disposed of waste incorrectly in their life. For Ēto, too, working in harmony with nature was a process - and still is. She now uses vintage and antique materials and breathes new life into them. Sometimes she uses used canvases and produces almost no waste. She dedicated the series "I Broke The Earth" to the time when she was still learning how to work more sustainably as an artist. "I Broke The Earth" brings a sense of calm and sophistication to every space, whether displayed in a modern living room or a cozy study. Looking into the countless layers of different materials and the torn, cracked surface, envelops the viewer in an almost meditative calm.
