I can Do This Painting

This painting is part of a series of motivational words and phrases which I know help many of us stay focused on a task or simply remind us that we are capable of many wonderful things if we just get out of our own way and believe it! We all need constant reminders and what better way to remind than to have a feature piece of artwork hanging on a wall you see every day? Each Line of this piece represents the growth of the belief from the bottom line being a little shaky, to the top line – a strong definitive statement. This particular painting was inspired by something from my past… A few years ago, just before I took on a huge commitment to build a business from scratch – I felt I needed to support myself with motivational quotes to help bolster my resolve and so I made myself a scrapbook page with the words ‘I Can Do This’ in large capital letters to emphasise the point. I hung the 12 x 12” page on my noticeboard and it did remind me daily that I am ok, and I could do it. And I did build what is a thriving business.
