In my works, I wanted to depict a different kind of world, where silence serves as the central motif: silence as a beginning and a source of healing; silence that can elicit change; silence that can create harmony and a sense of serenity. Noise causes stress, but silence can liberate one from it. We live in an age of noise which stifles silence. NOTE: This artwork will be delivered in a roll (without a subframe). You will have to go to the frame shop for a subframe so you can hang the painting.

I continue to study the randomness and control within painting process. The balance between order and chaos. Remembering and paying attention to non-existence, time, and distance at the same time. I am in the process while painting... Touch of the brush on canvas creates a form. Everything is a process. The approach is equaly important. I am not looking for a symbolic meaning in paintings. I'm more interested in a shape, movement, space. Draging a line I think about how it starts and how I want to see it at the end. As the painting is finished the line still continues.
