ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting started out as an abstract but then a tree shape started to emerge. I collaged torn up sheet music to the canvas. The top area of the painting was created by stamping paint onto the canvas using circular shaped objects. There are hundreds of circles layered on top of each other. The tree trunk was made from a stamp that I designed and carved in college. The painting is ready to hang. Canvas edges are painted black and wire is attached to the back with hooks/nails included.
