ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This artwork is part of the series Easy abundance where I investigate the fluidity of life. Not one day is the same. Each day is different. Going through the day we experience different emoties. We feel low or high. We start the day in a certain state of energy and as we move along we are influenced by the people we meet, the situations that arise and the challenges we face. Life is not fixed like a polaroid picture. Life is not a picture that stays fixed and will look exactly the same forever. Life is fluid and conditions, vibes and relationships are changing as we speak. Nothing is forever. I translate the fluidity of life - the never ending changes as we live - into layers of color, energy and moving lines. Each layer represents a momentum of life. I catch the movements of joy, sadness, humor, lust, longing, fun....layer upon layer as a reminder to me and to you that the only thing we have is now.

Enthousiastic, positive, jumping around, in love with the sea and crazy about color! As a woman who came across many challenges in live I am highly motivated to live a life as authentic as possible and I am extremely interested in what keeps us away from our own fire and intuïtion. I get very emotional over topics such as domestic violence, child abuse, keeping girls away from education, etc and I decided years ago to give away a percentage of my creative sales to social projects (for more info check ) I love travelling & submerging in other cultures, I adore sports such as swimming, hiking, inline skating, squash, and I love to spend time with my partner Mark and son Pablo. Events on personal development or spirituatlity can really take my breath away... I was born and raised by the sea and that had an inmense influence on who I became. Today I live on the island of Frei, near to Kristiansund in Norway. My studio looks out over a beautiful fjord and is situated in an old factory.
