About The Artwork
Turn your face to the sun & leave the shadows behind. The series "towards the sun" takes up the topic of a positive attitude towards life. The sun is a symbol for pure optimism, which is shown in gold in the pictures. The series is limited to 8 works of art, with each picture dedicated to a specific life theme: e.g. love, naturalness, freedom, etc. The work of art "I'll hold you forever" is the third picture in this series and takes up the theme of love. The golden color is again a symbol for the sun and optimism. The shimmer that shines through the picture shows the aura of two lovers. The picture is a declaration of love to the partner and a promise to always be there for the other. The mixed media artwork has a size of 100cm x120cm and was painted on high-quality canvas. Acrylic paints, wallpaper & napkin leftovers & pastel chalks & markers were used for this artwork.
