I created this moving female figure from earlier sketches that I made. Just from fantasy: moving and dancing figures or yoga poses. I used rough brushstrokes and palet knives to create interesting texture. I used acrylic paint, also gold paint in background and 24 karat gold leaf on figure and some parts in the top of the background. The figure lights up intensly seen from different perspectives. The title can be interpreted in your own way: diving in emotions, circumstances you faced, or maybe you like -literally- diving in the ocean and see all the beatiful colours and shapes.

Artist ART Eva Maria SOURCE OF INSPIRATION "Looking at people's faces and trying to figure out how they feel and what they think - that is my source of inspiration. This mysterious aspect fascinates me. Afterwards I will tell my own story - in colours and lines - about these people using various visual tools." I see nature (both landscapes and faces) as a gift that shows itself to me. I'm trying to catch the feeling that's inside of me, while being an observator. Showing the reality is not important, it's my personal impression and emotion that I wish to communicate. This is a very intuitive process during which my hand glides on paper or canvas. This way I am able to tell my own story in layers, colours and lines. Afterwards the art is not mine anymore and open to other people's eyes, making new stories as well. I'm always searching for new ways for my art (small to large sizes, different techniques) to travel and show themselves to public.
