ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is an homage to Jackson Pollack. It is layered with underpaintings, turned around for weeks, then my direction took shape. It was a gestural fun fest. It just flowed. Those are rare times, but oh so much fun. The viewer should have lots of opportunity to grasp something and ponder it. The sides are painted black. It has hardware and wired, ready to hang straight from the package. It is varnished with two coats of gloss varnish. Signed by the artist.

I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts, and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
