I live in the Pacific Northwest in the summers where there are native American tribes. I've been interested in old photos of American natives and I have been wanting to do some contemporary paintings of natives. This one was completely from my head so no reference was used at all.

I am a self taught artist. I started painting seriously in 2016. I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. I spent several years living part time in Los Cabos, Mexico. Today I divide my time between Houston and Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Until 2012, I worked for several years doing graphic design for our privately owned software company. My artwork is often a reflection of myself or of my dear friends. The women have a feminine quality, sensuality and glamour. Some of the work are reflections of the past, feelings of love and loss. Each one contains part of me in them.
