About The Artwork
Been living and working in Tokyo for 20 years as a professional trumpet player. Recently diagnosed with throat cancer (4th time). Had to take time away from the trumpet and in January 2018 started painting to continue to create. Love abstract painting using Japanese Washi paper. I applied half the paint indoors and actually completed this painting outside in the rain. I was looking for the combined effect of the ink, Washi and rain water.
