About The Artwork

Pan was in love. He wanted to win the very dear Elvira for himself. But how, he asked himself. He remembered, he dialed 4442266. "Chicken Express, Heart. Can I help you?" a bright voice rang out. "Fried eggs! Juicy fried, please!" he ordered. "Lovers, single, mingle, family with or without wrapping?" "The Lovers Box!" "Coming right up!" Pan saw in the corner of his eye that the ravenous boar Urs was sneaking up on and, as he turned around, how he was innocently digging in the ground with his snout. I know exactly what you are up to, thought Pan. I'll give the egg to the graceful Elvira in the tutu. You won't get it, you lazy bastard! A short time later, the express chicken hurriedly appeared, balancing the Lovers Box on its skull. It nearly rolled over as it abruptly slowed down to hand him the hot goods. Shoot, Pan was distracted and it came as it had to. The wild sow galloped towards him, rammed its incredibly pointed canines into his butt and ... the heartily wrapped fried egg shot through the air, was grabbed by a gust of wind and landed in the far distance right at Elvira's feet. Magic! Stupid only that it contained no sender. You can watch a video of this painting on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4mrB6Q012ak GERMAN Pan war liebestrunken.

With my paintings I want to put a smile on the face of the viewer. I want to remind him of the sunny side of life and brighten his mood. All my paintings tell stories. Which ones? That depends on the imagination of the viewer. Hello, I am Suraya Baumeister, born and raised in Heidelberg (Germany) in 1976. I studied landscape architecture in Kassel and Palermo and after living in Karlsruhe for a few years, I moved to Switzerland, to Lake Maggiore in 2010. During my studies (1997-2004) I started to paint abstract, preferably with a spatula. My individual painting style started to form in 2017. The abstract paintings I do are acrylic/mixed media on canvas. I paint them intuitively. Through the abstract painting I get inspired to draw the faces, figures, mythical creatures and elements. With my art I want to make you smile. My paintings radiate joy and ease. Together with the stories I write for the big pictures they stimulate your fantasy and invite you to step into a playful world.
