Oil on wood Signed on the front. This artwork is a 22 x 12 cm oil painting on a wooden panel that has been treated with gesso prior to painting. It needs to be framed. This was a popular size for plein air painters back the day as it could easily be stored and carried back to the studio. This imaginary landscape is what I imagined a plein air painter would have painted in the impressionism movement.
