About The Artwork
This is my first oil painting. I remember bringing home a set of oil paints of 24 x colors, I was so excited that I wanted to use all the paints. I squeezed a pea-sized amount of each color onto the watercolor paper and began to move the paint around on the paper with the palette knife, listening to how it felt. The feeling was simply magnificent, watching the bright strokes take shape and I see a green horse in apples with an Amazon girl riding on it, in a rush of wind and passion, all around an outlandish green of some incredible jungle. With this painting my creativity began, I fell in love with oil and brushstrokes. I named my painting "In the Land of Dreams" it is about childhood dreams, creativity and freedom. The picture is painted on heavy watercolor paper, for all period of storage since 2012, it has not lost its brightness. The watercolor paper is perfect for oil painting. The painting is decorated in a frame with glass, has a hook for hanging on the wall. Will be securely and beautifully packaged for shipment
