Hello there, I'm Beena Sohail, and I'd like to share a glimpse of my journey with you. Life has a funny way of taking unexpected turns, and mine is no exception. I'm a fine artist and calligrapher who rediscovered her passion at the age of 42. As a young woman, I always held a deep desire to become an artist. But circumstances led me down a different path. I got married early and embraced the beautiful journey of raising kids and managing a household. However, that dream of becoming an artist never really left me. Years went by, and while life was fulfilling, a part of me longed to pick up the paintbrush and express myself on canvas. I hadn't pursued formal education in art due to the responsibilities that came with married life and motherhood. But you know how they say, life has its way of surprising you? At 42, I rediscovered my artistic spark quite unexpectedly. It was like stumbling upon a treasure I had forgotten about. And just like that, I found myself immersed in the world of colors, textures, and emotions. The abstract pieces I create allow me to pour my feelings onto the canvas, capturing moments and experiences that have shaped me. But there's more to my journey. Calligraphy, particularly Arabic calligraphy, has become my specialty. It's a way for me to honor my heritage and breathe life into the written word. Each stroke of the pen is infused with meaning, turning words into visual poetry. It's a dance of ink and paper, a celebration of culture and language. What truly warms my heart is that my art has found its way into the homes and hearts of many. I've had the joy of selling numerous paintings, each a piece of my soul translated onto canvas. It's a reminder that dreams, no matter how long they've been tucked away, can still blossom into reality. So, here I am, a fine artist and calligrapher, living a chapter of life that I might have thought had passed me by. My journey is a testament to the fact that it's never too late to rediscover your passions and let your creativity shine. And for me, that's a beautiful and fulfilling place to be.
