INCISO numero 2 150x100 mixed media on canvas ❗️technique and the meaning : read below ❗️ The Inciso series was born out of an introspective examination, an analysis of our Ego , a desire to want to bring out our true soul. Each opera of the series need several long steps before becoming completed and contain 5 layers and 3 “levels” to represent respectively Soul, Body and Appearance Starting from the bare canvas comes the soul , an acrylic painting , brought to its completion , to its total definition this is painted by our soul , a heavy , powerful , thick painting , for this layer I use acrylic , oil pastels , ink marker and various paints. When our "soul" reaches its maturity this is shaped and in turn covered by our "body" , our Physical structure , as the soul , it is covered from our Appearance , what we show to the world. This last painting , covering the previous two is removed using blades and various tools, it is ENGRAVED in its depths causing our SOUL to resurface, in its magnificence over time it has left its marks, which majestic and twisted surface, making space from its upper layers. Our soul shows itself through the other levels . The letters that often characterize my paintings , bring me back to primal thoughts, to the urge to scream , to unspoken words. Each work in the INCISO series needs 60 hours of work and around a month ( for this medium dimension ) and around 30/40 hrs for the smaller one . The INCISO series will be completed at the birth of the 12th brother one per month and no more will be realized. Esposto a Siena

Born in 1983 to a family that was partly Florentine and partly Sienese, thanks to his grandfather, a great collector and art enthusiast, his childhood was surrounded by great works of world class, under his guidance his passion grew, latent, in secret. The meeting and association with many artists has strengthened the desire to actively approach the creation of works that can imprint one’s soul on something eternal, the desire to express one’s thoughts, torments and emotions is often hidden and masked by elements that do not show themselves to the observer, leaving the intimate and understandable message to the artist. The Inciso series tries to conceptually represent to the world what for the artist is a problem that afflicts each of us, our "spiritual" mutation dictated by the events that have afflicted us, leading us to be people different from what we are. The path of each painting reaches its peak at the moment in which, fed up with no longer being us, we face a drastic introspective action, digging inside ourselves, in order to eliminate some aspects, we try to bring back what made us unique and true. . An eventful past, traveling the world as a professional motorcyclist, after several injuries, in 2019 life suddenly undergoes a drastic change due to a health problem, the peak is reached in 2022, where due to the pain experienced, the artist for over after a month he can't sleep, his mind begins to resign and the external world takes on an abstract vision, his inner strength fades and when hopes were minimal, art returns to his life after a 3 year break, again The expression of his suffering occurs through colours, only thanks to this does life take on meaning again, like a therapy, painting helps to make the pain go away more than medicine, becoming a morbid necessity, an addiction which, if not nourished every single day, he manages to make spiritual and physical problems disappear, art becomes his oxygen. “I can say that art saved me, only thanks to it I am here today ” .Inversely to his emotions, the brightest colors represent the artist's most tormented states, where the dark ones represent a state of serenity for him, the various enigmas present in each painting are masked without giving the world the possibility of interpretation, strengthening the character of an artist tormented internally and sunny on the outside.
