Splash of colors, drips and drabs and something beautiful to treasure forever - that is what Art is to me. My name is Anusha Durgadas - Indian born and raised in Bahrain. I am a self-taught artist and I have never studied art professionally. Art is my passion and my spirit. It has always played some part in my life. I’ve always been connected to it in one way or another. Probably because my mother and her sister are creative in their own way or maybe because I feel I am better with colors than with words and art helps me speak through brush and paint. In the race of life - art remained a hobby alongside my professional career but the calling just kept getting stronger. I would constantly be drawn to and intrigued by the beauty of art - the colors, the mediums, the feel of the paint, the textures it created - the infinite possibilities that it has to offer. My favorite mediums include acrylics, oil and resin. I continuously experiment each day to push myself to my creative limits and try to create soulful pieces. My subject is diverse whether it is landscape, wildlife or portraits.
