"Inner Feelings 02" Painting

My artistic work is strongly influenced by fashion and interior trends. Colours and colour applications in flat form fascinate me, as they combine to form dynamic colour fields. I like to integrate fabric remnants into my works, whether by painting or as pure material. Each of my paintings is an expression of emotion. It reflects the feelings that dominated me at a particular moment and that I wanted to capture and express. When I go into my studio and look at the colours and materials, I feel inside myself which colour can best reflect my emotions. Then I reach for that colour and let the corresponding colours emerge naturally. I have a vision of the colour feeling I want to capture on the canvas. The exact composition of the painting emerges later, when my brushstrokes lead me there. Each painting is something personal and reveals a part of my inner world. My way of working is handcrafted and experimental - I love to collage and assemble things, inspired by the concept of garment making, where a collection of garments is created. My artworks are not only meant to be integrated decoratively into spaces, but also to fulfill an artistic ambition and encourage observation and deep perception. Through my art, I want to make the viewer connect emotionally with my works and interpret them in their own way.
