Inner mystics of the peony Painting

I am passionate about creating stories on the verge of figurative and abstract. I work with large strokes and with a minimum of movements I create dynamic expressive compositions. It is quite possible to find out the subject of my inspiration or you can just relax and watch the abstract composition. My personal style is work on wood and plywood. I consider their intricate natural pattern so self-sufficient that do not paint over the background, but only emphasize the texture of my canvas. The structure and hardness give me a completely different feeling from familiar materials and a new dynamics of movements. That work is one of my series "Floral metaphors"
