ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this painting, five amorphous circles float in space on a raw linen background. The circles are in pink, ivory white and dark gray. While they appear to float individually, they merge with each other and form a new, dynamic form. After my apprenticeship as a tailor, I graduated from the Deutsche Meisterschule für Mode, Munich, in the department of fashion and graphic design. Since then I have been working as a book designer, illustrator, textile graphic artist and artist in Munich. My art is created in my shop atelier in Munich, which also serves as a gallery. I share it with the wonderful Chinese artist Yani Wang, who exhibited and painted live all over the world as a child prodigy in the 80s. She inspired me to paint large pictures and is a driving force for my work.
