Interference．Black(Violet) Painting

In my works, some traditional pictorial images are served as an expression way. For example, swirling pictorial images mean a common image culturally. While I use traditional pictorial images, I also enrich my expression with some other composition patterns. It is purposed to use the composition theories of traditional patterns entering the western painting expression way of geometric abstraction.Traditional pictorial images make me feel its special cultural heritage and aesthetic meanings. Therefore,I also hope to re-interpret the ancient pictorial images and demonstrate their spirit. On the whole, the creation process is required for endeavoring management of mental operation and measurement. An operation step with its uniqueness is exactly the hand-made result. About painting qualities, I mainly focus on the exploration on colors. In view of a single color, I experiment the application of pigments and tone mixtures. I use the interference colors and pearl colors from acrylic pigments to create the variety of different color levels and shades and demonstrate the influence on painting themes exerted by different tone mixtures and pigment media. I focus on the expression of some items like veins, shades and transparency.
