This piece belongs to my newest abstract collection, produced in San Miguel de Allende. The piece includes wire hanging. The canvas, like the others in this collection, have a slight angle on the edges, giving even more depth. For this same reason, this triptych won't need to be framed since its 2 inch diagonal slant is integral to the painting.

Lynne Gleason has worked across many genres during her professional career. For the past fifteen years, she has worked predominantly painting and sculpting horses. Lynne was recently offered the opportunity to work on large paintings of the Arabian horse for the Sultan of Oman. Two fourteen foot high paintings are now prominently displayed in Muscat, the capitol of The Sultanate of Oman. The Artist has been invited to exhibit a new series of Arabian horse paintings and sculptures this October to coincide with the celebrations of the Sultan Qaboos's forty year reign. The exhibition will be held in the new museum in Muscat, Bait al-Baranda. Before moving to San Miguel de Allende in Central Mexico seven years ago, Lynne lived for twelve years in London, England, whilst living next door to the Queen's Household Cavalry on Hyde Park. She began painting the horses and men of the Cavalry as they passed by her balcony each day. This work led to several exhibitions, a studio within the Household Cavalry Headquarters and the publication of the book All The Queen's Horses—The Art of Lynne Gleason. Her work is now in the collection of HRH Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Malborough, the Royal Household Cavalry and many others. Lynne’s work in London then led her to visit Austria to paint the Lippizanas; to France to work with Le Regiment de la Cavalerie de la Garde Republicaine; and to Holland to work with the Dutch ceremonial horses. The Museum of the Netherlands then selected one of her works for its permanent collection. Lynne’s fascination with the power and magnificence of the Arabian horse will continue to be the focus of her art as she further explores its central and pivotal role in history, for how different our world would be today without the equine influence. “The magic rippling of it's mane is simply the breath of it's father, for the horse is the son of the wind, a symbol of all that is good, the link between humanity and God.”
