Exploring time through quiet landscapes with deteriorating structures of billboards and old drive-in theaters, I encourage viewers to slow down and contemplate the character of spaces that held a different message in another time. This specific artwork has a second life as a digital animation that can be viewed online at Snacks Quarterly at the following link: The artwork was created with a variety of mediums, including acrylic, ink, grease pencil and collage. It has a protective gloss varnish topcoat, giving the colors an enhanced saturated quality. The edges of the painting are finished with a very dark blue and can be hung without framing (mounted with picture wire).
