I draw inspiration from a range of sources, such as archaeology, artifacts, geology, landscape and plant matter. My process comprises of an eclectic mix of adding and subtracting: controlling the medium yet allowing the accidental.
Through building, deconstructing and then partially rebuilding, painting surfaces are constantly multi-layered, constantly renewed.
Originally from Northampton, England currently living in B.C. Canada. I graduated from the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a BFA (honors) and have exhibited in both group and solo shows.
