About The Artwork

This work represents the duality of perception of humans who want to pursue their ambitions and surrender to their fate, with visuals of spiraling land symbolizing confusion as well choices that must be made from many choices. Many of these elements are enhanced by a desire to explore the way light in space, either imagined or real, enhances the compositions he allows himself to glimpse.

I was born in 1999 at Sumedang, Indonesia. Graduated from Fine Arts with a specialization in painting program from Telkom University College in Bandung, Indonesia, and worked as an illustrator for many years before turning to full time Painting Artist. Drawing and painting being my favorite means of expression. I'm an artist in recent years has often brought surrealist aspects that bring visual landscapes by combining every (familiar) reality with unknown aspects (fantasy) such as aspects of space or other unfamiliar objects into my paintings, so that bringing elements the familiar as well as the unusual visual elements in a simultaneous visual unity, can also be interpreted as the 'between space (Liminal Space). In the process, I explored a lot of new mediums, such as sketching on digital media, exploring 2D animation, and making frames from clay combined with resin. My interest in exploration in my artwork, makes my work structured. In the creative process, it is like putting together pieces of a puzzle, because I kemba collect as many visuals as possible that I receive from digital products or from the social sphere, I then develop these visuals spontaneously by illustrating fantasies and ideas at the same time. So the process is similar to compiling a collage from photos and social products that I receive from various aspects, freezing the visuals in time and place from the past and present My work basically often talks about space, time and memory. Then relate it to the duality aspect of perception, and bring in the visuals that come from objects that I often encounter in the social spaces where I live.
