ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Santiago Cervera Latín was born on August 27, 1974 in Seville, Spain. In 1995 he moved to Madrid where he studied Advertising and Business Management. After finishing his degree, he left the capital to settle in the nearby mountain range of Madrid. It is there where he began to develop a self-taught artistic career, where he dedicated himself only to painting. Years later, he moved to Algeciras (Cadiz) where he currently lives and where he has his studio. His painting belongs to Abstract Expressionism, highlighting by his use of firm lines and by his elegant use of colour. For him, painting means to give sense and beauty to abstraction.
