ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I've always loved painting flowers, especially big haphazard bouquets with huge hydrangeas and deep pink roses. The flowers are full of texture and vibrancy. When I was painting this, paint fell on the canvas creating a whimsical bird all on it's own. I just added feet. Often when I paint a bird emerges. I take it as a sign and embrace it.
