This piece belongs to Ivory Tower Series. The technique is a method called miniature technique that is a traditional art of Ottoman Empire. However, as a contemporary artist I am using this method to create contemporary expressions. The gold color on the top of the tower is real gold. We choose not to use any other alternative than gold. Since this is a traditional art that comes from the palaces of Ottoman.
As a miniaturist I am using really tiny brushes and color
the gorilla's hair one by one with this brush. Also the tower is done by square by square to form a mosaic form. Therefore, to finish a one piece of artwork takes enormous time.
