ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Nature is the biggest inspiration for me. Being there and painting there gives me the greatest pleasure. This drawing is done with egg yolk tempera, which is one of the oldest art medium, vertsatile and long lasting. This technique gives me opportunity to make paint myself. I grind colored stones and minerals and then mix it into the egg yolk. Unfortunately I couldn't indicate the medium correctly in the description of the drawing because there was no egg tempera in the list.
