The colorful abstracts, metallic explosions and ocean inspired paintings are just a manifestation of Codruta's free-flow, intuition and improvisation. The process is very fluid and therefore limited control. The technique involves mixing fluid resin/epoxy with various pigments, inks, acrylics, spray paints, pouring and layering these one over to create a lustrous like-glass three-dimensional "painting." The differently pigmented resin interplays into various layers,( sometimes it takes even 7or 8), creating depth and ethereal aesthetic. The art piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. The substrate is cradled birch wooden panel The high grade quality of the resin used contains no VOC, no fumes. The resin preserves staying clear and not yellowing for a very long term under normal conditions.
