Japan Painting

I work with materiales that bring meaning and more senses to the artwork. This is an abstract figure made out of all colour pencils. The middle figure is with volume, like a 3d pencil core popping out. I use the repetition of a same material (pencils) to create texture volume and as a transformation of meaning . re.think, re.use and re.signify materials are crucial in my work methodology. Please note that this piece is in a frame ready to be hung up from the wall and also you can hang it in different ways: square or diamond shape (please see photo #4) as this is an abstract figure and has no up side or down side. I believe that when something has more posibilities the better it is!
