Hello, l’m Ksenia and I am an Artist/Illustrator and Musician. My art is a way of seeking answers by asking questions of the world. Sincerity is my foundation. I strive for the images I present to breathe, like a forest or a dress filled with the memory of the person who recently wore it. Since childhood, I've always felt a deep connection with nature, walking through forests or observing the changing seasons. It seemed to me that in every tree, in every wind, there was something magical waiting to be discovered. I don't separate nature and humans, for me, they are one. I enjoy observing people, their emotions, so I often create portraits where I show a sharp image/emotion as in the series "The Person Inside". Once, I decided to paint many different states of the ocean. Not just a portrait of the sea, but to convey its essence, its spirit. I wanted people, looking at these paintings, to peer into its very heart. I think oceans are not just blue expanses; they are a metaphor for humanity's endless quest for depth, diversity, and changeability. I was born in Siberia in 1993, my work delves deeply into themes of personal experiences, exploring liminal states, the sensual realms of human existence, and our connection with nature. In recent years, my art has frequently engaged with themes of emigration and reflections on war. I graduated from the Novosibirsk Art School and studied at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in Saint Petersburg from 2016 to 2020, specializing in theatrical and decorative arts. Concurrently, I gained diverse artistic and theatrical experience in educational theaters and on the stage of the Capella. Working across the genres of painting and graphics, I also employs mediums such as video art, performance, and installation. In 2023, I and my family repatriated to Israel.
