ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Figure ethnique au fusain et acrylique sur toile, que j'ai préalablement préparée afin que le fond présente de la matière, que le sujet et le fond se confondent presque en un objet. Je me suis inspirée d' images de tribus dont les hommes, les femmes et les enfants se peignent le corps et le visage pour célébrer certains jours particuliers . J'ai utilisé une matière très épaisse et accidentée qui accentue le coté brut et tribal . J'aime beaucoup travailler le noir et blanc, jouer sur les contrastes, chercher la lumière, en dehors de la couleur .

Born in 1966 in the west region of Paris , I began to draw since I was a child . Not really happy with school , my books where full of littles drawings and after my baccalauréat it was evident that I should continue in artworks . I love drawing, and working with colors. What I prefer is painting people, feminine figures,I see there a poetry and a depth which inspire me without limits. Today I live With my family in Tours, in the loire valley where the lifestyle allows good inspirations !
