ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My paintings are created using layers of paint, spray paint and glazes. They are varnished for UV protection and sides of gallery style canvas are painted solid color. This painting was created using acrylic, heavy gel medium, gesso and spray paints on canvas. Protected with satin varnish (protection from dust and UV) Painting is wired and ready to hang, sides painted black- no frames are necessary. Canvas stretched on wood frame (1.5 in. deep, gallery style). Painting signed in the front and the back. The colors may look slightly different, depending on the monitor.

Halina is a professional artist and art educator. She was born in Poland where she received her master degree in Fine Art and Art Education from Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. She immigrated to Canada and in 1999 completed New Media Design post-grad program at Sheridan College. For almost a decade she was running an art school in Port Credit, Ontario. In 2015 she moved to California where she works and lives. Painting primarily in oil and acrylic. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Canada, the United States, Germany, Poland, Russia and Australia.
