It is this immediacy of being that makes me a process painter and draws me to wild places. "Just Like That" is a playful, abstract painting. Bright blocks and curved planes of sunshiny color are balanced with more muted, calming tones of warm gray. Inspired by the sun as it reaches over the gray sky, from darkness into dawn, it's an uplifting abstract for a contemporary space. Full size is 48H x 49.5W inches, leaving ample canvas to stretch on deep stretcher bars to its 43H x 44.5W x 1.5D image as shown. It's signed on back and ships in a tube. This is especially safe for oversized works. Rolled canvas can be easily stretched (placed onto wooden stretcher bars) by a local framer.
