Lately, I've been dreaming in black and white..... I painted with gouache paint to create a matte and opaque image on the canvas. This listing is for one painting- the last three images show a few options if you were to collect all four. The painting is gallery wrapped with a 1.5 in. border, so framing is not necessary. It is wired and ready to hang, however you can adjust the wire and rotate the painting to select your preferred position. My signature is on the side and the back and the painting is protected with matte varnish. "Juxtaposition No. 3" arrives with a certificate of authenticity.

I'm an abstract artist from Atlanta, Georgia. I create my paintings using a variety of mediums, including acrylic paint, oil paint, alcohol ink, texture mediums, and oil sticks. My work strives to create a thoughtful and emotional experience drawing you into a world of color, texture, and mood. My approach always starts with a decision to be open and surrender to the moment. A mix of intentional and intuitive paint pours, gestural strokes, or marks create a dance of color and texture that are both spontaneous and deliberate. From there I allow the process to guide me, free from judgements or limitations. As I paint, some elements get covered over while others are revealed again, and the finished painting contains a rich, layered history.
