Kamma is a Pali word, the equivalent of the Sanskrit word Karma, which is quite well rooted in the Western consciousness. This word is associated with fate, with destiny. Quite often, and this is closer to the truth, this word functions as the law of cause and effect. Both of these associations go back to spiritual traditions. The direct translation of the word Kamma means action, but I personally think that one of the most accurate words for this word is the word habit. Whatever action we take is recorded in our subconscious, and this action is reinforced by this record - if I have stolen something, next time my conscience will not have such remorse. In time, stealing will become an ordinary activity, and thus I will become a thief. If I help someone, even though it seems beyond my strength, it will be much easier for me next time, and thus Kamma's law allows me to become a better person. I think that's how it works. I wouldn't expect other rewards and punishments, but they don't matter in all this. This artwork is painted on canvas stretched on wooden frame. I was using professional oil-colours with premium quality colour pigments that have high resistance to fading. Sides are continuously painted, so there is no need to frame. The picture is accompanied with a certificate of authenticity and ready for wall mounting. The work of art will be professionally carefully packed, shipped and insured. Shipment can be followed to your doorstep with the track & trace code.

Jacek Sikora - an actor by profession, painter by choice, traveler by twist of fate. He began his adventure with art by working on stage. Studies at Ecole Internationale de Mimodrame de Paris, and Ecole de Mime Corporel Dramatique opened him to the expression and code of gestures of the human body. The trace of stage work can be found in his figurative works, in which man is always at the center. His artistic path has evolved from acting and pantomime towards visual arts and easel painting. Enchanted by traditional Far Eastern ink painting on paper, he begins his artistic search with figurative art based on monochrome color, in which we find the most characteristic features of his work - color and detail minimalism. Over time, his works evolve towards color field painting, reducing detail from abstract paintings and introducing color to figurative ones, which emphasizes the importance of the symbols hidden in the paintings. Today, paintings by Jacek Sikora can be found in collections in Great Britain, USA, Russia, Australia, France, Cyprus, Emirates and Japan. He lives and works in Świdnica.
