"Kill Your Fetish - 4" Painting

I am Evrensel Ürüm, an Istanbul-based multidisciplinary artist and designer working under the artist name Evros.

My practice moves freely between painting, digital art, AI-generated imagery, animation, design, performance and experimental visual storytelling. I studied Textile and Fashion Design at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University in Istanbul, while also taking courses in Painting, Graphic Design and Photography. Over the years, my professional and artistic journey has taken me through fashion, graphic and web design, textile printing, interior decoration, digital media and contemporary art.

I have lived and worked in Turkey, Germany, Montenegro, the United States and Brazil, experiences that have deeply influenced the way I see culture, identity and human experience. My work often explores the boundaries between reality and imagination, technology and nature, humor and existential questions.

I am interested in art as a space for questioning rather than providing fixed answers. I enjoy crossing disciplines, experimenting with new technologies and combining traditional artistic approaches with digital and AI-based tools.

Under the name Evros, I continue to develop an evolving body of work that reflects my curiosity about humanity, consciousness, society and the strange, beautiful absurdity of being alive.
