ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A message about this painting: Sometimes a turquoise painting can bring out anxious feelings. Typically a turquoise painting reminds me of a water setting. Sometimes underwater. Usually snorkeling or seeing some kind of coral reef. Other times, and in this case, it reminds me of getting caught up in some rogue waves. You know when you get stuck in a rough set. When you get pulled under. When you have held your breath for an eternity and you're terrified that there's no air left in your lungs. This one brings up feelings of that last moment before you get to gasp for air. The flashes of light that you see even though your eyes are closed to protect them from the stinging salt water. Sometimes paintings will just bring that up for me. She's still a beauty. She just brings that up. XO, Laura

SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Delivery Time:

As an artist, I explore the concept of energy and attraction. The use of turquoise, a color that symbolizes balance, reflects my connection to the universe as a Pisces. My work is an expression of my energy signature and serves as a method of connection to the world around me. The movement and fluidity in my paintings represent the pull and attraction of energy, inviting the viewer to engage with the colors and movement on a more intimate level. I create art to feel like I'm a child laying in the grass of my parents front yard and staring at the clouds to see what shape they shift into. I create to connect with you and have you tell me what you see in the clouds.
