I strive to paint from my gut a surge of body parts that are both on the fringes of figural and unknowing. At a gaze one can feel as if peeking into a secret message of a sexual ritual. Within the erotic body parts (dominated by females,) I paint for the mystery of lines, color, shapes to convey a climax of thought. The grotesque prevails despite the sensual nature of my paintings, there is the expressive, unsettling, and visceral confirmation that the subject matter of a given work is typically intended to unsettle the viewer while making it their own visual.
