ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Three 18" x 36" gallery wrapped canvases to be hung side by side. Sealed with a UV varnish and ready to hang. Right panel signed on the bottom right corner. I began with a single color and added and balanced until I was happy with the mix. It wasn't until it dried that I saw the kraken, with its large head and eye in the center panel and the tentacles on the left and right. Lots of energy in the movement of the paint, with metallic copper bits adding shine. Another example of my love of the ocean subconsciously coming through during my fluid process.
