ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The title of this work is in Spanish and means "tears of red wine". The title alone lets the viewer guess what this picture is about ...: Sadness. A deep grief caused by the loss of a loved one. Dana Kathy processes the feeling of sadness with very intense, red wine-like colors. The play of different shades of red gives the work a nice depth. It is a two-part picture that is simpler in style and yet wild at the same time. Street art elements should of course not be missing at Minifreakz and can be found in this picture in the form of neon colors and graffiti spray. The artist's love for Spain, where she grew up, is reflected in the title. "Lágrimas de vino tinto" - a wonderful picture that wants to be read.

My name is Dana Kathy and I am the artist of Minifreakz. I have been painting, drawing, sketching and creating since I was a small girl. For me, art is a feeling of freedom and my biggest passion. I was born 1992 in Germany but grew up on the beautiful Island Mallorca, Spain. I enjoy traveling and exploring new countries and I had the big luck to grow up in a family that shares this passion. When I was 8 years old - my family decided to move to Africa, an amazing experience that changed my life and has made me want to become an artist. The spectacular colors and the wideness of this fascinating continent are also in the present, part of my inspiration. Nowadays I am based in Germany, working as an independent freelance artist.
