Born in a family of Breton and Provençal origin in Toulon in 1960, Bruno Georges DAVID, began painting at a very young age on multiple supports (wood, beach pebbles, old ropes) and designing works based on recycled materials (old alarm clocks, springs). Under the dual influence of his uncle the Marseille painter Albert TRELLU, close to Jef FRIBOULET and his drawing teacher Alex GERAUDIE, he discovered, from the age of thirteen, the different techniques and practices of gouache, watercolor, charcoal, red chalk, oil and acrylic. With his friends the painter Julien BAGOUT and photographer Olivier REBUFA, he tried his hand at music, writing poems and short stories. Since 1978, he has exhibited regularly, notably at the CAFE DES ARTS in Toulon. All the works from this period have been sold but have not been listed. From the age of twenty, Bruno-Georges began a career in advertising that would take him to about fifty countries, working for major French and international brands and living in Moscow for several years. Throughout this period, his production was mainly focused on advertising production for major communication agencies. He resumed his personal work around 2008 with works based on clay and newspaper that he had been particularly fond of since his youngest age. Painting would be nourished by the skies of France and elsewhere, horizons whose common thread remains the profusion of colors and the search for an authentic transcription of his emotions. Today, the prolific and prolific artist, who also writes poems and short stories, is based in Sofia, Bulgaria and regularly participates in group exhibitions, open air exhibitions and international festivals organized by the Amatéras Foundation. These works include installations, paintings, modeling, mobiles and ephemeral works.
