ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My work is impressionistic combining drip & splatter technique with impasto. After a lazy day in the park just lying back and looking up at the sky I saw the colours of Ukraine reflected back at me and I thought of all those poor souls not enjoying this day, this freedom so this is my ode to them and my hope for peace so that they too can once again enjoy a lazy Summer day.

Born in New Zealand, Craig completed a diploma in graphic design before moving to England where his work became a firm favorite with interior design firms, advertising agencies and corporate fit-out companies. Craig has exhibited in England and New Zealand and has paintings in private collections in both these countries as well as in Europe and the United States. In 2011 Craig relocated his studio back to New Zealand where he continues to explore his unique style of painting, combining drip, splatter and impasto with a dash of whimsy.
