LOVE Painting

1/4 Connections - LOVE: This is the first piece in a series of four. I love pipes. I love the way they connect us and they are absolutely everywhere you look. I like how they create perspective from every angle. Some people may see old pipes in the city and not give them a second thought. I think they inspire curiosity - what are they used for, where are they going, what's in them... If I busted this pipe, what would come out? Water, air, gas, sewer, electricity - they all connect around us and make our lives easier. So yeah, they are important. I create my art with acrylic on canvas. In this specific painting I used a syringe to create the pipe connection "ridges" and shaped the arc with a small brush to give them depth.
